The International Legal Foundation (ILF), an international nongovernmental organization based in New York was created 10 years ago for the purpose of setting up public defender systems in post-conflict and transitional countries. With projects in the West Bank, Nepal, Afghanistan, and Tunisia, it currently has 250 employees worldwide.
Currently, the ILF is seeking exceptional law and undergraduate students for Spring 2017 internships.
Legal interns will have the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the ILF’s work in developing effective criminal legal aid systems in post-conflict and transitional settings.
