The ILF relies on donations from its supporters. The ILF’s model of establishing public defenders offices and training lawyers has proven to be a successful model for delivery of cost-effective, quality representation to the poor. Because the ILF employs local lawyers to represent clients and maintains only a small international staff in New York, you can be sure that your donation will have a significant impact on the communities the ILF serves.

The ILF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Charitable donations to the ILF are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed under U.S. law.
