ILF’s Executive Director Attending Summit on the Global Agenda
The ILF’s executive director Natalie Rea is in Abu Dhabi today at the Summit on the Global Agenda, working with fellow Council members to develop principles that will promote greater adherence to the rule of law. Rea brings a unique perspective to the discussions, and an important agenda: over the next year, Rea will work hard to bring issues related to indigent defense, particularly in post-conflict settings, to the forefront of the agenda of the World Economic Forum, and to get governments, international organizations, communities and business leaders around the world involved in the ILF’s mission.
Please join us in this important work by lending your ideas for how the ILF can most effectively advance our mission, or lend your support to the ILF’s work worldwide (email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with ideas, visit our website to get involved, or make a tax deductible donation to the ILF).
On July 1, 2011 Rea was appointed to the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Rule of Law. The purpose of the this Council is to advance rule of law principles as pillars for solving global issues and to help set the agenda for the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
